Multnomah University | Commuter Team 2013-2014

Another honor. Takin' it back to my alma mater for a photo shoot. This session was relaxed and fun. Goofy characters and easy going. We took these photos on campus (Multnomah University) on the side of Sutcliffe, in front of the Prayer Chapel, and the A-Frame. Enjoy :)

Bi Mart Willamette Country Music Festival 2013

Yes, a dream come true. In Hicksville, a lot of redneck lovin', sunshine sittin', beer drinking, hell of a good time happened this weekend. I can't believe I got to experience such a thing. Not only did I go to see great country stars like Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, I went for the experience of good 'ole country vibes and spirit, and whatddya know? I experienced a good bit. And I want to keep going, to experience more bits. I drove two hours south and camped in little Sweet Home, Oregon. The town kinda reminded me of the movie Cars. I was waiting for Mater (or even Larry the Cable Guy) to pop out somewhere and ask me to go tractor tipping. And if he did, I damn well would have gone...

This ticket had been sitting in my wallet for months, waiting for its use.

Soon this field would be packed with thousands of cars. And later, after soon, these cars would attempt to leave this field...

Brownsville, Oregon is gorgeous. The site of the concert was especially gorgeous, with beautiful tree-filled mountains on all sides, and a great big pasture of hay for us to frolic in. The sun was in full swing, Vitamin D's and burns and all. Sweat, sweat, and more sweat, followed by mud on my legs. I got dirty, and I loved it. I even bought a cowboy hat to fit in with everyone. I wasn't gonna be no outsider. I just needed the boots to complete the look. Maybe next year.

Not the best yakisoba I've had. I still give major props to Molalla Buckeroo for the best yakisoba in Oregon I've ever had.

I bought two of these right off the bat. But then I discovered you could buy a Brad Paisley cup (20 oz or so) and refill the entire weekend for just $2! Done deal.

Bad idea: Bringing a chair that sits inches from the ground.

These are the happy beginning stages of dirt.

Lovely Cassie.

Moon was out every evening.

Each main act killed it. This night was Carrie Underwood. I was exhausted and wondered how she could even sing at all.

Remember that field of cars? Yes, this is the madness after Carrie. There was an accident right away, and there was no one willing to let anyone in, anywhere, without force.

My cute little camp. I'm pretty proud of my camping skills thus far in life. I can't wait to camp some more!

Mmmm, dirt!

Cass and I.

More dirt. And glitter.

And a wonderful, breathtaking sunset.
